Right now, Fangraphs projects the A’s to finish with a 53-109. Slightly better than the 2013 Astros 51-111. They have to work harder to make some history. Come on A’s suck more!

That’s optimistic when they’re currently in a 45 win pace.
Putting it in perspective - they’d have to manage 23-30 the rest of the way. I don’t see that happening at all.

Apparently Josh Jung broke his thumb today. That’s not an easy one to come back from in a timely manner.
Hate to see a promising young player get hurt.
But I’m not going to cry for the Rangers having injury luck catch up with them.

Angels lost the no hitter in the 8th but kept the shutout and beat Texas 2-0. Astros finally pick one up on the Rangers.

Word is the Angels are calling up their 2023 first round pick after 21 games in the minors. If that doesn’t show Ohtani they’re serious, I’m not sure what will.
