Sorry to hear that, damn. Friend of mine just came down with it too. First time he’s had it (at least with any symptoms). It’s definitely picking up again, hopefully it’ll be more of a ripple than a wave.
Positive test may last for days after Covid is gone. Do not pay any attention to them after 5 days isolation if you feel fine.
Yeah, thanks, I’ve googled around and have come to the same conclusion. Hope you’re back to normal after your bout with the virus.
I quoted doctors’ advice not Google. This episode of Covid illness was only on Day 3 after catching cold symptoms on Days 1 and 2. I was back to normal on Days 4 and 5.
We had Covid a few months ago. For Mrs Sid it was like a flu; I have asthma so the doc put me on Paxlovid and Prednisone so mine finished in about a week, but for me the worst part was insomnia–I really didn’t sleep for 3 days, was just in a weird delirium. The symptoms lasted about a week and it wasn’t life threatening or anything, just sick. I (like others on here I’m sure) would’ve been in the hospital in 2020 so we’re lucky we waited a few years to get it!
One thing that jumped out at me today was that Altuve is not running anywhere near 100%, closer to 50. That foul ball off the leg earlier in the week is still affecting him.
According to McTaggart:
Dusty Baker said they hope to get Jose Abreu back during this homestand, which ends Thursday.
Yordan still out of the lineup (door discomfort)
Abreu back
Yordan finger
My wife has a client who had a house built without closets. Maybe Yordan can build one without doors.
That’s a good idea. It’d be a safe space for Pence, too.
Oof. That team is snakebit.
Mike trout is snake bit
Yordan in today’s lineup.
But was too hurt to pinch hit last night.
Big brain is big.
Fuck you, Dusty.
It’s infuriating that he was not used with the game on the line last night now knowing he is fine.
From The Athletic today:
It’s one thing to go all in and lose a hand. It’s another to push your chips in, lose your balance, hit your head on the table, vomit and pass out.
