Possible injury at 2B, 1B up in the air… Joey Loperfido’s time in AAA might be short.
In the top of the first inning, Altuve fouled a ball off his shin and stayed in to finish the at bat. He beat out a swinging bunt for an infield single. He was removed in the bottom of the inning for Dubon.
X-rays negative. Day to day with a knee contusion

Brantley 1 for 3 with a long ball in Sugar Land tonight.

With him just getting to AAA and not being on the 40 man roster. I will be surprised if this is the move if Altuve has to miss time. Don’t forget, Brantley played some 1st the last time he rehabbed. He might be an option at first IF he is able to make it through the rehab stint.

Could be. It’s going around. Had me in bed all day Tuesday and Wednesday with 101 fever and feeling like I got hit by a bus. Feeling better than I have in a month today, but the damn test says I’m still positive so I’m stuck on the couch watching baseball in the AC. (Not a bad fate.)
