So basically, it sounds like his shoulder doesn’t feel great after trying to ramp up his rehab. I’m afraid he may have a Bagwell type of shoulder issue.

Yes and I suspect the problem he had with this previously (2-3 weeks back) never fully went away. Hence all the off days Dusty has been giving him. Betting Stros shut him down for a bit to try and get him right once and for all.
The all star break can’t get here soon enough.

This might be the end of the road for Brantley. Even if he starts his rehab again in four weeks, he probably won’t get an AB this year. I don’t know if he can, or wants to get a contract for next year.
