Anyone want to enlighten the rest of us on why am MRI was indicated?
Foot issue/discomfort
Tucker out again today
Does this mean that we will get to relive the Tucker “slow start” when he returns?
3 days old, but didn’t see posted:
Also, Odorizzi:
So if he’s in January, he’ll be ready to start the season in October. He ain’t pitching this year.
I take January meaning a couple of weeks away from pitchersvand catcher’s reporting.
Season starts 6 weeks later.
I interpret that as June and July are Lance’s spring training and he’s back about August 1st.
I’m experiencing discomfort from this speculation. I’m day-to-day.
August 1 is optimistic, i.e. no setbacks, he’s ready for game situations. October, or not at all, is maybe a bit pessimistic. I think it’ll be closer to the latter than the former.
If McCullers pitches for the Astros in 2022, I’ll buy you a beer. If he pitches before September 1st, I’ll buy you a single malt scotch.
We’ve gone from “setback, won’t be read for the opener” to “taking it slowly” to “moved to the 60 day IL” to “just now throwing from the rubber when the 60 days is up.”
No part of this trend says “pencil him in for September”.
If he pitches for the Stros before September 25 you’re buying everyone a beer.
Second the motion.
Is this like one of those Mattress Mac deals?
How about a couple of 40s you can all pass around?
Are we letting Chuck pick the flavors?
No offense to Chuck, but I think I’d let Mark R pick the flavor.
Mac wouldn’t touch this one.
What, do I have a reputation for drinking bad beer or weird beer or what? Back when Panama prohibited the sale and consumption of alcohol in the early days of Covid I had to make do with bootlegged tall cans of Old Milwaukee. That was not great, but I think that’s as low as I’ve ever needed to go. I just looked and I see that I also had stashed some of those smaller cans of Coors Light. So I guess that’s as low as I’ve needed to go. Needs must and whatnot.
