What happened to Jones?
He’s had a back injury and is expected to be out at least a few months.
I feel bad for Jones.
Bad backs suck.
It must be worse for a guy his size.
Perez and Matijevic get call ups and could possibly pass him on depth charts and future opportunities.
Any word on Altuve now that he’s back to light baseball activities (as of Saturday)? I wonder if he will come off the DL on Friday, the first day he’s eligible.
He ran today per McTaggart.

If Altuve is healthy I see 2 scenarios:

activate him Friday for the big series in Toronto.

because Toronto has turf, send him to CC or Sugarland for a short rehab stint.
His health, how the team views the Toronto turf, and how the hitting does the next 3 games will likely be huge factors.
Altuve is back tonight, hitting leadoff and playing second.
