“ Espada added that Tucker still isn’t running, which is a major hurdle he’ll have to clear prior to returning to action.”
Ya think…? Kinda hard to run on a peg leg.

Even harder with no leg.
I’d prefer they keep him away from hurdles.
Coach/Jim, hopefully he has a leg to stand on period.
Seems to be good news on Dubon.
Yordan in left field today; Altuve, Dubon not in lineup
After all of the strange, seemingly minor discomforts that have happened this season, I am amazed that that play resulted in “eh…I’m just a little sore, I’m ok”
Alvarez in LF, Caratini at 1B, Singleton at DH, Whitfield at 2B.
Is there a slot machine involved in making these lineups?
I don’t know but definitely worried about Altuve now. He was given a DH day a week or two ago and then a complete day off not that long after. Seems a little quick for just another routine day off but gotta hope that’s all it is.
He’s started 125 of 130 (131 today) games this season, and this is his 2nd rest day this month.
They are in the middle of 18 games in a row and 29 in 31 days.
Caratini does have experience playing 1B and Whitcomb (that’s who I assume you mean) is well-experienced at 2B. So I’m not that concerned. Assuming they don’t have Jake Meyers catching. Which is not a given with Espada.
How many stolen bases would the other team have with Meyers behind the plate? I have to imagine a bunch since the ball is gonna bounce twice before it gets to 2B.
Oops. Yes comb not field.
“And the relay throw from the pitcher is not in time.”
I am just stunned that this team is not 20 games below .500. What a houdini job so far.
It occurred to me that maybe Meyers or Chas could toss the ball into the Crawford Boxes to allow a fan to make a stronger throw to the infield.
Maybe instead of “backing” eachother up, they can instead cut in front as a sort of cut off man to the cut off man
They should think about getting a third catcher (Salazar or whoever) so Caratini can play every day. He’s a better hitter than anybody else they’re currently playing in the back half of the lineup. Hopefully they do this with the September expanded roster…
I was sure he broke a collar bone.
I won’t be convinced he’s not out for the season until I see him on the field again.
