Huh, never heard of them. I love a good country meat market, we recently got a Klein’s (out of Boerne) to replace Whittington’s in Johnson City. If we ever make it to Burnt Bean BBQ I’ll have to check out Granzin’s Seguin location.
If Europe and our former NATO pals are smart, they’ll immediately declare the US as an emerging dictatorship with the potential for human right violations. Isolate us, sanction us, and take over as aggressively as needed on the defense of Ukraine. The quicker the rest of the world openly recognizes us as an arm of the Russian government the quicker at least we might know what our citizenry will do about it.

Of course. Every functioning democracy should immediately seize the personal assets of prominent Trump supporters, revoke visas, etc. The United States must be treated like the global menace that it is. And it should fucking hurt.

Once you embrace the fact that Trump has been a Russian operative since 1987, everything makes so much more sense.
For example, the Treasury Dept. has announced that it’s, basically, relaxing oversight of money laundering. That, combined with the $5 million immigration “gold card”, is laying the ground work for Russian oligarchs to get US citizenship and move their money over here with zero regulatory interference.
Farmers got royally fucked by Trump’s first trade war. Trump ended up spending more on farm bailouts than he raised in tariffs (from Americans).
They’re about to get fucked again. How do we know? Trump is pre-lying about it.
This is in addition to the loss of USAID contracts that were worth billions annually. Like military aid to Ukraine, most of it is given in kind - not cash - so that money is spent with US suppliers.
And there’s the other shoe dropping. The Oval Office ambush was to set the predicate for Putin’s wet dream.

It’s embarrassing that things are at this point. Our educational system is a joke, and those still supporting Trump are oblivious to the fact he’s going to destroy our democracy with Putin and Musk’s help by the time he’s done. They actually believe nonsense like he’s one of the greatest presidents ever.
The Democrats in Congress need to stop playing nice and play dirty like their Republican counterparts before it is too late. They should hammer Trump and the Democrats at every opportunity over the Zelensky meeting and Russian interference.

Canceling aid to Ukraine was a foregone conclusion once that motherfucker got elected. If the rest of the world didn’t have a contingency plan in place then that’s a level of delusion that I can’t help with. The Europeans are going to have to move in unison against the new Axis of Evil.

Trump 1.oh killed US soy farmers because he slapped a tariff on China and they slapped one back on US soy imports. Chinese buyers found new sources so, when the tariffs were lifted, the orders didn’t come back. This time, not even USAID is buying US soy, because Edolf cancelled all the contracts.
Here’s a clip from Fox News of Trump’s press conference this afternoon, where he’s talking about the imposition of tariffs and you can see the DJIA collapsing in real time in the chyron.
None of this is subtle or even unexpected; he’s doing what he said he would do, and everything that everyone said would happen as a result is happening.
Oh I know. Under Biden we started seeing more sales and actually last year was pretty good. Now I’m seriously just wanting to sell my portion and bring the money over here.

I’m still trying to figure out who the constituency is for this shit. Putin, sure, but he can’t be deliberately wrecking the country because Vlad has a pee pee tape. I mean, just say it’s fake and everyone will believe you. They believed that the assassination attempt was real. They’ll believe whatever you tell them to.
