I have been thinking about Sydney Sweeney’s two big boobs lately. Those being her attending Jeff Bezos’ wedding and appearing in the Aryan Eagle ad that resulted in Don Jr. posting a picture of his dad wearing a denim suit and Don Sr. himself lauding Sidney (sic) Sweeney on Xitter. All of which resulted in someone digging up her having been registered as a Republican at some point; something about which no one gave a shit until a week or so ago.
We are for sure in the midst of a soft civil war right now, when you consider that Texas is trying to rig the next election for Trump while California and New York are fighting back to rig the election against Trump (because all gerrymandering is election rigging).

Somehow, these two things are completely different.
I’m sure he said it publicly at some point, but GHWB once told my FIL that a man who will lie and cheat on the golf course will do so in every other part of his life. That’s why he distrusted Clinton for so long.

The nightmare for Trump/Abbott is that this gambit is successful in preventing redistricting (because Texas closes the book very early on primary ballots), but New York, California and Illinois go ahead and do theirs anyway.
One of the CA GOP Reps who will be redistricted out of existence has introduced a bill to outlaw political gerrymandering. Good fucking luck with that, sunshine.
Texas is not going to hold primaries until they get the redistricting. Abbott/Paxton will simply not allow it go forward without it.

Won’t that require them to have another special session to change election laws?
If the TX Dems can hold out - not easy given that being in the legislature is somewhat of a volunteer activity and these people all have day jobs - Abbott and Paxton can scream and scream and scream until they are sick, but they can’t make this happen.
