I wish Taylor Sheridan would slow down and concentrate on writing high-quality stuff again (Sicario, Wind River, Hell or High Water) instead of pumping out a dozen or so mediocre (Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King) to terrible (everything else) TV shows.
We treat our waterways awful. Whatâs a little frack water to go with our shit water. All so the farmers down stream can have enough water to water their cotton and soy bean fields, we already treat raw sewage and pump it back into our rivers, where people swim, fish, ski, and more. And itâs all supposed to be perfectly fine.
Any restrictions whatsoever on unfettered business practices are communist and must not be allowed. Nothing is more sacred than the business ownersâ right to maximal profit, collateral damage be damned.

Iâm hearing daily stories from friends and family in SoCal. One of my friends is a musician so heâs been spending his downtime patrolling Santa Ana and Orange for ICE and said he helped with a getaway a few days ago.

I donât get it. People should be shitting themselves, but I guess the new episode of Love Island is more important. You really do get the government you deserve, and apparently a majority of Americans deserve a Fourth Reich.

I think quite a few people really do care. We had what by some measures was the largest protest in US history with the âNo Kingsâ events. Those were just the people ready to go out and do something then. I guarantee there are more and more people joining those ranks daily. Itâs going to get even worse before thereâs a breaking point but I guarantee that breaking point is approaching. Itâll just take one trigger happy ICE agent and a camera and itâll be game on.

It seems to me that in a supposed democracy, the very minimum that one should expect from government agents that are depriving people of their liberty is that those agents should unequivocally identify themselves and show the grounds for that deprivation. And yetâŚ
But by all means, keep slurping up those Dodge commercials trumpeting our special âMuricanism because we can make fast cars that slurp gasoline.
