I always love it when people try to sound smart and use the word “stupider”. They out themselves.
Trump has nominated Mike Waltz to Elise Stefanik’s old would-be gig as UN Ambassador. It’s a senate-confirmable post, which is going to be interesting.
It’ll be another loyalty test for Senate Republicans while allowing Senate Democrats to go wild about Signalgate. Also, it’ll be an ordeal for Waltz as punishment.
In ousting Mike Waltz from his role, I believe this makes Marco Rubio (checks notes)… simultaneously the secretary of state, interim national security adviser, acting administrator of USAID, and acting archivist of the United States.
I guess it’s fitting that a proponent of small government has four jobs at once.
Taking a job as a day laborer should still cover those student loan payments, right?

Abu Dhabi doing a $2 billion deal using Trump’s meme coin.
In case you didn’t get the point, this is the tariffs working as intended.
I had a buddy throw out the “Flouride lowers IQ” comment last week so I found an NPR article about the study. The gist of it was that Flouride levels double that of what we see in drinking water resulted in the loss of a few IQ points among children in their test group, and that the roughly 2M Americans were exposed to that level of Flouride, because of the natural environment from which they get their water (something about mountain terrains). So yes, “true” in the sense that Flouride did impact IQs, but way overblown.
Being unable to eat because your teeth have rotted probably affects IQ, too.
I have not reviewed the study in question, but the number of confounding variables that contribute to what’s measured in an IQ assessment is staggering.
Of COURSE you trust NPR, buncha socialist eggheads. Last well we dug out behind the butane tank don’t got no fluoride, just necessary minerals like sulfur.
You got sulfur? I need that for my turbo fuel factory.
Oops…wrong thread.
The GOP is now back-tracking on the promised big, beautiful tax cut. It’s now delayed and contingent on things that weren’t mentioned before.
DeSantis polishes his presidential credentials by having family members fraudulently operate a charity.
This could have legs, it could go nowhere. The short version is that DeSantis directed $10 million in state funds to a charity run by his wife, and she turned around and donated $8.5 million from the charity to a DeSantis SuperPAC.
She sounds like cabinet material to me.
Rubio sucks at his job. One of them, at least, he has 4 currently.
The Secretary of State getting owned in a twitter spat by a foreign country is classic Trump administration.
Remember how, in Canada’s recent election, the Trumpian party lost and its Trumpian leader lost his own seat? Well the exact same thing just happened in Australia.
ETTD
My wife is aussie and tends to vote for the Liberal party in Australia (which is the aussie conservative party). Even though she has lived here for years she cant understand how someone with conservative values (or any values at all) can support trump.
Trumpism bears little resemblance to Republicanism these days. It’s no longer about politics, it’s about values and morals.
This is real (in that Trump actually posted it).
It is not known whether Trump asked why there was no face cloth and eye holes.
You’d think he’s offending Christians with this, but his followers don’t believe Catholics are Christian.
