Iâm repeating what I was told, not rationalizing it. Also, two basically said they are pro choice but she made it too much of an issue. And she is âpushyâ. Basically âI donât need some other woman telling me whatâs whatâ. I guess men doing so is at least tolerated. Itâs a strange dynamic.
The âUncommittedâ movement will now get to watch as Netanyahu bulldozes Gaza into the sea. Jill Stein voters will get to watch as Trump hands over vast swaths of federal land for exploitation and possibly nukes a hurricane.
Congrats to them. Their protest votes will bring about the very thing their vote was protesting.
I wish you were wrong, but you arenât. Sometimes, you have to take one for the team for the greater good. Some members of the Democratic Party donât understand that.
You canât fix delusional nor hypocritical. I suppose all three of your female colleagues either donât lead teams in your office nor have a desire to do so?
Another takeaway from last night is how much redder Texas has become: +14 for Trump this time vs +6 last time, and a +9 victory for Cruz. Weâre much more on the Florida trajectory than we are turning purple. Living in Austin, I donât sense whatâs happening statewide, but something is.
I agree thatâs a big shift, but is there enough people down there to account for that dramatic shift from 2020? Iâm not even sure that the Hispanic shift at a statewide level can account for it.
I read somewhere that Harris underperformed Biden in every single county in the entire US. Not sure if thatâs confirmed but I have been spot-checking the electoral map and I havenât seen anything to refute it.
Iâm sure there are some shifts at play, but I think the problem was the ticket itself. NC elected Dems to multiple statewide offices, yet broke for Trump.
The election is over. I realize the Democrats arenât going to let it go for awhile yet, but itâs over.
Democrats: I hope this result will teach you that Americanâs require real work. If you want the vote, earn it with genuine policy plans and communication.
"Heâs terrible " will not earn you votes because it shows you really arenât enough better to matter. Americans deserve better. You did a piss poor job of convincing us that you were the right choice to heal our country and lead us for the next 4 years. You did a piss poor job of convincing us what your ideas were and how (even if) you were going to accomplish them.
You have failed the American people in your job of protecting us from this cancer and from ourselves.
You have 4 years to learn from your mistake and reshape yourselves into the kind of people Americans can trust and believe it. If you can do it sooner, the mid terms in 2 years would be great.
Republicans: despite them deserving it, try not to bask in your victory and punish those who treated you so badly. Much of it was deserved, and you werenât any better about how you treated them. And in the end, it hurts US, the American people you have pledged to serve, as much as any of them.
Try to respect the positions the American people have given you. Realize your roles are to serve us and not your own interests. Do your best to unite all of us and not continue to foster division.
And above all, letâs all stop hating each other and find some common ground as Americans. As brothers and sisters.
