Last time he pissed all over laws, norms and the economy, but that stuff is redeemable over time. This go around he is making “physical” changes: closing departments, firing staff, razing forests. That shit will take decades to redress if it is even possible, especially as things like ending USAID will flat-out kill people who can’t be snapped back into existence.
Meanwhile, Canada has responded to Trump’s tariffs with a threat of tariffs of their own, to which Trump responded with threats of tariffs on tariffs if they do. It’s just so dumb.
