Authorities have said foul play is not suspected so that’s the most probable explanation.

“Suspicious enough”? No shit.

I love The Dolls.

R.I.P.

I must now watch Scrooged.

I don’t know if I ever told this storry here but, I’ll try to make it brief.

About 25 years ago I was managing a jewerly store when this couple walked in. The woman had a very unique look that was familiar but I could not place.

To pay, she pulled out a credit card and last name was Johansen.

I asked if she was any relation and she said “yes, isn’t it obvious. He’s my brother”

Then I realized she was a spitting image of him in drag and could not unsee it.

She embraced it though and kept a huge smile on as we talked about him and The Dolls for several more minutes.

This is a really great article, what a good guy.

Sounds like he was the literal opposite of Tommy Lee Jones.

Nice article.

I hate that the details of his passing completely overwhelmed consideration of his career or in this case his retirement. Both of which he appears to have mastered.

I just loved the fact that he was pretty dialed in with his local community. Sounds like he had a pretty great last few years.

We could use a hell of a lot more of that attitude right now.
