Beautiful song. And in a great example of misheard lyrics, my eight-year-old brother thought she was singing, Killing Me Softly With Insults.
A female friend of mine thought it was “Strumming my bay with his fingers” and yes, she thought it meant what you’re thinking.

Clint Hill, 93, former Secret Service Agent who was in President Kennedy’s perilous motorcade in 1963.
He was a fascinating individual and carried the weight and guilt of JFK’s assassination for many years.
He also used to order a drink he enjoyed that became the “Clint Hill”
