My wife and I are seeing him Sunday at the Walmart Amphitheatre near Fayetteville. With of course Puddles opening. I feel like Puddles has found his home, opening for Weird Al.
That’s creepy as hell.
I have no idea who Puddles is and I am not going to even think about Googling it.
“clowns are creepy, mimes just piss you off”
Puddles is billed as “The Sad Clown With The Golden Voice”.
Incredible vocal talent.
If you can tolerate looking at him for a few minutes, I recommend his insanely viral cover of Lorde’s Royals:
He does indeed have a good voice. I’ve always liked “Royals” and think it’s fine with Lourde singing it. The nuance and genius of the song really pop with a good baritone singing it.
Post modern jukebox is really really good at making great covers of songs. Their version of Maps is much better than Maroon 5 (the bar is low, I know)
Postmodern Jukebox is awesome, and really has helped some incredibly talented musicians and singers take their careers to the next level.
Freddy Fender was rocking an absolutely next level mullet. Holy shit that thing is unreal.
Puddles has an opera-quality voice.
I remember first hearing about Puddles many years ago when you had seen him wrote about it. I found some videos, then we got to see him just in Little Rock in 2019. Opening for Weird Al seems like a great spot for him.
How tall is Puddles?
Hat, or no hat?
Listed between 6 foot 6 and 6 foot 8.
I’m 5" 11", for an idea of his size.
I’ve watched this video so many times over the years. When Morgan James hits and holds that high note, holy shit, it’s incredible. We bought a few of her CDs simply because of this video.
My daughter and her husband went to see Puddles and Weird Al tonight. I look forward to her report. Puddles does have a remarkable voice.
French rednecks are my favorite rednecks
It looked like in the pictures I saw the venue was outdoors. I hope they survived!
Yeah, I think it was some outdoors venue in the Woodlands or something like that. They’re young; they’ll be fine
