I started with and (so) prefer Lewis.
John Thaw who played Morse was previously best known for his role in arguably the best cop show on British TV: The Sweeney.
Gritty and hard hitting, it didn’t pull any punches. Everyone was flawed, shit went bad constantly and the crooks often got away.
And, yes, it’s the same Sweeney that was going 90 cos they’ve got no place to go.
Julian McMahan, 56.
Bobby Jenks, 44
Fuck cancer.
Godspeed, MM.
Connie Francis, 87.
Felix Baumgartner, 56
Shocking/not shocking.
Malcom-Jamal Warner, 54
Reportedly while swimming on a family vacation in Costa Rica. Very sad. RIP.
Damn.
Alan Bergman - Lyricist (along with his wife Marilyn) behind The Way We Were, In The Heat of The Night (Movie 1967, not the TV series), Yentl, and many theme songs from the 70’s (Alice, Good Times, Maude)
Ozzy Osbournr, 76
Fuck, man.
Again. Shocking/non shocking.
Can you help me occupy my brain?
Oh yeah
I need someone to show me the things in life that I can’t find
I can’t see the things that make true happiness, I must be blind
Make a joke and I will sigh and you will laugh and I will cry
Happiness I cannot feel and love to me is so unreal
And so as you hear these words telling you now of my state
I tell you to enjoy life I wish I could but it’s too late
Only shocker is that he made it to 76
Absolute fucking legend.
That was quite a run considering the lifestyle he lived.
So bad they’re good.
