Warmth of the Sun is still one of my all time favorite songs.
I liked The Beach Boys well enough, but didnāt take them seriously until one day I realized that everything on Pet Sounds was perfect. Just flawless.
Celebrity chef Anne Burrell, 55
Thatās tragic. No cause of death disclosed yet.
Lord, why couldnāt you take Sandra Lee instead?
I do not support this remark!
I donāt care for Sandra Lee, but WTF!
Just mourning that someone with real talent was lost.
In a roundabout way.
Yeah. Maybe not my most tasteful remark.
I respected Ann Burrell as well.
Bob Schafgans, 75. Karaās uncle and a gem of a human being. Went into hospice last weekend (kidney failure from his liver cancer chemo) and took a sharp decline last night. Fortunately, we got to say goodbye this morning before he passed away peacefully this afternoon in his own home surrounded by folks who loved and adored him. I hope all of us are that lucky in the end.
Going to miss the hell out of that man, even if he was a lifelong Giants fan.
This one stings immensely.
Iām ever grateful for all the wonderful times spent with Bob over the years, and for his being a wonderful, gentle, gleeful, caring, considerate, good-humored, loving, sarcastic, and unique person.
He was a peach and I adored him.
Iām hoisting a few for Bob on my layover in Spokane.
Iāll miss him heaps.
Even if he was a Gints fan.
Mick Ralphs
Yesterday, while walking home from the gym, the song āBad Companyā started playing in my head and I couldnāt get it out for a while.
oooooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeohhhhh!
R.I.P., Mick.
I loved the āLeslieā effect he had on the āBad Companyā guitar solo.
Such Great bands
RIP Mick Ralphs!
