Both of my sons are lefties. The older one is a classic lefty who couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn if he tried to throw or bat righty. The younger son tried batting from both sides of the plate and was always more comfortable batting right. Everything else, he does left-handed.

My goal is to live long enough so that, when news of my death starts to circulate, people’s reaction is that they thought I was dead already. It would mean that I had both outlived expectations and been able to avoid people. Win-Win.

I grew up listening to the Beach Boys. Their early music was a lot of fun. Barbara Ann, Little Deuce Coop, Surfer Girl… Then Pet Sounds put them on a whole different level. I also dig the shit out of Smiley Smile.
