I always thought Nash was a lucky guy to be surrounded by the talent of Stills and Crosby. Especially Stills. You could give me a solo Graham Nash album and it would remain unopened.
Nashâs last album was pretty good. Not a huge fan of any of them (although i love their music) but i enjoyed it, along with Crosbyâs recent spate of albums.
I havenât seen McGuinn in many years, and I canât even remember the last time I was aware that he was playing a string of shows. I recall that you and I talked a bit about a Chris Hillman show youâd seen.
I played the shit out of my 8-track copy of Nashâs Songs For Beginners album. Great album. Iâm gonna have to go play it now. Itâs been 45 years since I had that 8-Track.
Nash was a huge chick magnet. Or so I have heard. Crosby once saying something to the effect that Stills had this girl or that one, Young had this one or that one, Nash had them all.
Working 8-track players can be had for under $100. For as little as $10-15 if you have the inclination to repair one. But youâd better hurry before the IPA-drinking hipsters discover the media and drive the prices up to several thousand.
