If just thinking about someone who’s passed brings a smile, then we were lucky to have them. Grodin was definitely one of those.
His talk show in the late 90’s was a master class in steam of conscience grievance and frustration.
When you look up “deadpan humor” in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Charles Grodin.
Grodin was great. I did look it up but guy in the picture looks more like Bob Newhart.

What a fantastic performance in that scene.

Amazingly prescient. When he starts listing off corporations, they are all a fraction of the size of the largest corporations today. Eventually, we will all work for one of three corporations: Amazon, Apple and pick 'em.
