I thought Bailey was hotter.
Thatâs because she was.
Coming to Netflix in July.
Donald Rumsfeld.
Me neither.
There was a time when he was one of 3 people whose death I said I would openly celebrate.
Now early 2000s war crimes seem so quaint.
Fuck him anyway.
Was Kissinger one of the others? Because youâve still got a chance there.

No need to worry about saying it out loud. He was a terrible person who has blood on his hands. My only regret is that he didnât suffer more.
I donât know much about his music but in 1991 Biz Markie used a sample of Gilbert OâSullivanâs song Alone Again Naturally without permission. He was sued and the case became a landmark case with digital sampling regarding copyright and intellectual property law. The record was pulled from record stores and created the new standard of having to get permission to use a digital sample of another artistâs before appropriating for use became the new law.
I have a friend who is part owner of record company that specializes in what they call âanti folkâ, which is hard to define, harder to describe and seemingly has no boundaries. Anyway, one of their bands sampled a Dolly Parton song and Dollyâs people refused to authorize its use.
The begging went on for over two years, but there was no moving them. Then, one last gambit: ask Ms. Parton if she will release it as a duet. Because sheâs one of the worldâs best people, that tickled her and she said âyesâ.
And loâŚ
Great story.
ETA: Thatâs a pretty great song.
Biz did good work with the Beastie Boys as well
I saw that. In addition to Kansas being my favorite band of all time, Iâve met Steinhardt a number of times and and we had several mutual friends. He was a good guy, extremely talented. Very sad news.
