Given his health, I wouldnât have guessed he would live nearly this long. Canât think of anyone before or since that matched his presence on the mound. He looked like he was pitching from 40â. RIP J.R.

He threw 100 easy with no modern physical training/nutrition/medicine whatsoever. He would be a beast these days. Lots of those guys from those eras would be.
