Buzz punching the moon landing denier is legendary.
How he didn’t punch Ali G during that interview - where Ali consistently referred to him as Buzz Lightyear and asked him if he was jealous of Louis Armstrong for being first - I’ll never know.

She was in hospice care for the last few months, so this wasn’t exactly a surprise, but it still always is a surprise. The most unfortunate part was that we had scheduled another visit, and when we left on Thursday morning everything was just as it ever was. We spent the night in NM and then headed out for the second leg on Friday morning when we received word that something had changed Thursday night. An hour later we received word that she had died, and we were still seven hours away. Close, but no cigar, and I’m not sure I’ve experienced a bigger feeling of failure.
