That’s actually what they’re doing. Games 4, 5, and 6 will be Tues-Thurs in Philly and Game 7 and 3 in Houston. It’s really confusing, I know.
Bad News Bears in Breaking Training. Or Brewster McCloud.
But what I’m suggesting would have games played Tuesday and Wednesday in Philly, travel Thursday to Houston, play in Houston Friday and Saturday, and return to Philly next Monday if necessary.
Fuck
I realize it’s mostly because the Astros took care of business in the AL side but this postseason has felt like waiting around for the movie to start but you showed up 2 hours early.

And it’s Halloween and there’s still a week left in the season. I get that you can’t control the weather, but you can control when you schedule games. This scheduling into November is asking for trouble.
Boy I sure hope the Astros don’t have to stay in eleven different hotels their last night in town now.
On the bright side tens of thousands of Philly fans spent all day in their mothers basements trying (and failing) to think of witty rejoinders only to be sent back home after getting rained on.
On the bright side, it means that Philly fans will not be able to attend Game 5 and then travel to Houston for Thursday night football. Which I’m guessing will be the lowest attended game in the NFL in quite some time.
Rain Man
The Rainmaker
Anything starring Claude Raines…

This is not the first time a World Series game has been heavily affected by rain in Philly. I had forgotten before today about the suspended game 5 in 08

Might not get to Game 6. I guess it depends on how Games 3 and 4 go, but I can’t believe they wouldn’t throw Wheeler again in Game 5 if it’s a must win.
Makes sense. He was going in Game 4. That is a bullpen game too.
Of course.
Suarez was scheduled for tomorrow, so they’ll stay with him, and can bring back Nola for Game 4.
I think he is hurting.
