Maldonado is doing all he can to carry this team offensively.
It’s doable.
But not with what we’ve been trotting out there thus far.
I thought the Astros had fucking pride. A three-run homer in the third inning should not hold up tonight. Not with it being a win or go home scenario.

Still pissed at Correa (1st and 2nd - no out, bottom of the 1st — and a pathetic AB). Could have moved the runners over or gone the other way. When you get a fast ball from Fried - you’ve got to paste it.

I am. And they have done it in the past.
Bullpen holds it, hitters find their groove. They just can’t swing at the first pitch.
I’m aware, and I am just venting frustration. But, watching Yordan and Brantley ground into double plays with men on early in counts is infuriating.

I don’t know why we aren’t more aggressive when we get a quick runner on first. Correa and Altuve both could easily steal off of this catcher.
