Minter is leaving all sorts of pitches middle middle. And they refuse to swing.
It’s pretty sad, really, Bregman’s descent into uselessness. I certainly hope it’s something physical that might get corrected some day.
Not sure what physical injury causes a player to take fat pitches.

I’m sure his lower half is an issue, but if it was that problematic he wouldn’t be playing. There’s nothing physical about not swinging at 96 middle in or a hanging breaking ball in a two-strike count.
Yeah, but he may know he’s nowhere near 100% and he’s up there second guessing everything with zero confidence.

The good news is we’ll soon get to spend $30MM/year for his 500 pop ups and weak ground outs. Who needs Correa when you you’re getting that kind of bang for your buck.
