Man we need a win tonight to capitalize on that if the rangers do end up losing.
Are we not doing GZ for intentional purposes?
The team loses about 73% of the game zones I have started. So, I too am waiting for someone else to start one.
1 game to go; 30% is my estimate.
60% of the time, we’ll work every time
100% certain… that I will sleep through #162. Leaving it up to you guys to get us over the line.
I will raise my probability to 4.001%
One scenario I could certainly see happening is both the Astros and Rangers losing today.
That would be a perfect encapsulation of this year–losing their way to the playoffs. But, hey, everyone is 0-0 at that point.
Both teams have to run bullpen games.
What a train wreck the rotation has been this year:
-
Hunter Brown (19 starts)
-
Peter Lambert (28 starts)
-
Spencer Arrighetti (17 starts)
-
Mike Burrows (17 starts)
-
Tatsuya Imai (15 starts)
-
Cristian Javier (12 starts)
-
Lance McCullers Jr. (8 starts)
-
Kai-Wei Teng (10 starts)
Occasional & Spot Starters
-
Ronel Blanco (5 starts)
-
Ethan Pecko (5 starts)
-
Cody Bolton (3 starts)
-
Jason Alexander (2 starts)
-
Miguel Ullola (2 starts)
-
Colton Gordon (1 start)
-
Steven Okert (1 start)
-
Bennett Sousa (1 start)
-
Bryan King (1 start)
I fully expect both the Astros and Rangers to lose today.
Pretty much every game for the Astros is a bullpen game.

(I know that breaks the unspoken rule of this site but could not think of a more appropriate response)
The fact that this team isn’t dead last is a miracle
That’s a third of your games started by that mess. That doesn’t include “bullpen games”.
Somehow they managed to go 23-27 in their starts. Madness.
You have to be making that up
- Mike Burrows (17 starts) 6-11
- Tatsuya Imai (15 starts) 10-5
- Lance McCullers Jr. (8 starts) 3-5
- Kai-Wei Teng (10 starts) 4-6
Well thank the old gods and the new for Imai.
