Gee, seems like the Astros might want to get Framber’s psychologist on their side when it comes time to talk contract extensions.
Dr. Andy works for the Astros so that might not be too tough.
Framber’s agent may have other thoughts.

How do the rules even let 7 of the 13 pitchers on the same team participate?
After a deep playoff run last season?

How many tractor related questions can i ask before he says shutup and talk baseball?
Having met him a time or two I’m gonna go ahead and say unlimited.
I just learned that Vinnie Pasquantino’s preferred nickname is The Pasquatch, and I love it.
Boy these games don’t even have a pitch clock I don’t understand how they ever end.
I’m watching Panama play Italy and Italy has a guy named Robel Garcia who played 46 games for the Astros in 2021 and I don’t mind telling you that I have zero recollection of this guy. He was a utility infielder and apparently he even pitched an inning. Looking at his numbers from that inning, he’s not going to make anyone forget about Bob Feller. Anyway, I have no memory of him whatsoever.
I remember him, he had a walkoff single early that season, I think.
Edit: April 23rd vs the Angels in the bottom of the 10th he pinch hit for Chas and singled in Jason Castro for the winner.
Who the hell’s Jason Castro???
I find this happens every now and then, some guy pops up and they’ll say He played for the Rays, the Royals, the Dbacks and the Astros and I’ll perk up and say He did? The hell was I doing?
Some leather is really being flashed in this Panama Italy game
Bound to happen, with teams playing 50+ guys a season these days. Nobody can keep up with them all.
Italy has played some serious defense. Did you see the fly ball that Dominic Fletcher ran down? That was a really nice catch, jueputa.
Larry Vanover had two calls overturned at first the last half inning, one in favor of each team, and neither call was all that close.
Yeah pretty sweet catch. The WBC, much as I love it, is not exactly an umpiring clinic. There have been a ton of obviously missed calls.
Vanover has been a major league umpire for thirty years, man. He should be able to make simple calls and not get overturned twice in a single half inning.
I’d love for my guys to win this game and assure that we won’t be the worst team statistically in a sporting tournament for a change. As I type this Italy gets a two out double.
I think China has that on lock this year. But I fear for Nicaragua, thats a tough tough group
