Agreed. Can’t bring myself to upgrade just yet as I love the sound quality, it cranks nicely and as the ancient Algonquin Indians often said, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
I suppose when I buy my house, it might be time.

I’m not much into home theater, just hifi. I’m itching for a new McIntosh. They have some hybrid tube/SS jobs that are gorgeous. Haven’t convinced myself to pull the trigger yet, but probably next year.
I’ll be the 1st to say I don’t know much about amps, etc. but I feel it’s a rabbit hole I might be willing to go down in the future…

It’s a rabbit hole alright. But top quality gear will last decades, so I’m for it. I’m not one who has to upgrade or change all the time, so it would be the last amp I ever buy.
