Trade Deadline Possibilities 2021

Another dream shattered. Sigh. I also am glad it is not LAD.

Click should be talking to the Twins and the Braves. CFM is a bigger dream, and Berrios would be ok also. I do not really know what SP he should chase, but I have read there is not much quality available. Would Texas trade with us for Gibson?

The Braves aren’t selling.

They go back and forth.

The NL West is going to be a blood bath.

Besides Berrios, Minnesota could also move Kenta Maeda and Michael Pineda. The Rockies could move Jon Gray and, if you offered a big enough return, maybe German Marquez.

Only 3 games separate the Braves and Nationals and they are apparently sellers.

The Braves are only four games behind the Mets in the division after beating them today, and they added Joc Pederson two weeks ago. To date, they have given no indication they are interested in selling, unlike the Nationals.

That said, Click should still call them to see what it would take to acquire Morton.

Padres have traded for Snell, Darvish, Musgrove, Clevinger, and now apparently Scherzer in the past 12 months.

I guess they can’t develop pitching.

Oh and they are the third best team in their division ( by record)

Robbie Ray is another guy I would be calling about. The Blue Jays are 5 out for the last wildcard spot, 10 out in the division and his contract is expiring at the end of the year.

But the Blue Jay’s traded FOR Brad Hand.

They ain’t sellin’

You’re right, I missed that.

Yep, a good bit of their rotation is tanking.

Man, I wish I had a buddy on the inside of all of this. The Astros keep secrets better than the CIA.

Marquez would be a coup.

What would you give up for Luis Castillo? He’s really turned his season around and isn’t a FA until 2024.

Let’s never speak of this again.

No payroll strain?

Agreed, as I’m hearing Max would cost $30M against the luxury tax.

Fucking Dodgers, and fucking Yankees. It will be so fun to beat them again.
