Chas brings energy to the plate and in the field.

Straw did an admirable job righting the Ship. I felt he was leashed to 1B too often once he got on base.

Agree he should have run more. I also thought he should have bunted more.Getting up to .270 was a reward for his changing his approach at the plate.

I am smiling at the fact at the beginning of the year, I was the lone voice in the wilderness saying “Straw can play,” but now smarter than I people are pissed he was traded.

I said Straw would hit .280 by the end of the season, so you weren’t alone. Of course I also admitted I didn’t know what I was talking about.

I read that he had pain throwing a simulated game, so he’s been throwing at least some. But never got close to being game ready, I guess.
