It’s a sellers market, but there should be more coming back. There’s no reason for Brown to settle for this the day before the trade deadline.
Somebody on Toronto’s end has to be jumping the gun. The Blue Jays should have been happy to get either Bloss or Loperfido for Kikuchi straight up.

If that’s the full deal, it reeks of Jim Crane forcing Brown to pull the trigger. Dana Brown is known for building a farm system, I highly doubt he would agree to that for a rental with a 4.75 ERA.
