Haven’t I replied to this before? I do not know you so I do not know if I like you or not. I do not like your nonsensical, clueless posts.

The second half of your post is a great example of nonsensical.

If they are still in on Bell, that would likely mean the front office thinks shifting Tucker to center every day is a viable defensive alignment. Seems unlikely, but you never know.

Or that Brantley is out for the long haul.

I think Mancini signals that they’re not expecting Brantley any time soon regardless.

If it’s a shoulder sublux/separation like I suspect, the timeline is murky at best.

That, too. However, with the new additions, Mancini, Yuli and Alvarez should be starting at DH, 1B and LF most games with Diaz giving them days off.

Well, shit. Morosi reports Soto+Bell to San Diego is indeed happening.

Immediate reaction from the prospect knowers, if this is the full package, is that the Nats’ return is very light.

Provided it happens, at least Soto didn’t end up a Yankee or Dodger. That would be way worse.

There has to be more to it

It could be that those are just the minor leaguers, with the rest coming off the MLB roster (Gore+?). But I haven’t seen any reporting to that effect. Some folks saying the reported players are less than Cincinnati got for Castillo.

We could not get Bell by himself???

Ok, there we go.

The other player is Tatis.

Oh my goodness, it’s Hosmer, the Nats are taking on his salary. I can’t believe nobody beat this package. Bananas.

I don’t give a shit about Soto other than I’m glad he’s not going to an AL contender.

Just sucks that Bell got tied up in the deal.

I don’t know if it’s the most substantive, but it looks like one of the most lopsided. My Tucker suggestion from last night is better than this.

Instead of a PTBNL, Washington got a BOHICA

Maybe Bell will be a FA target.
