To finish out this deadline — would love to see Laureano and Vazquez to round out the trifecta with Mancini
On the surface you might say that I should have maintained or even lost weight by working from home, less fast food and such. But when you dig into the numbers and see that 24/7 access to food that is cheaper than eating out would show that I actually have gained weight because I eat more

A Laureano add would cause me some real cognitive dissonance. Vazquez too to a lesser degree: I have always had a peculiar fear of Boston catchers. But I do kind of heart the idea of that little Irish Mexican ginger back of the plate.
(Pre-edited to add: I have no actual clue about Christian Vazquez’s ethnic background.)
(Post-edited to add: I want to go ahead and come right out and say that I do not heart Bell or Happ’s strike out game, and never have. Also, I have not looked up their strike out game, and, as with that probable descendant of Gaelic Jesuit missionaries donning the TOI in Beantown, am just going on the eye-test.)

Has Happ played much CF? He seems more like a RF/LF kind of guy. And Laureano is a know commodity among those in the Astros organization. But I’d be happy with an upgrade anywhere on the field.
Yes, tho he may well steal a few runs & hits in the OF.

Not this season, but looks like he spent most of his time in CF in the previous two seasons. Switch hitter with OPS around .800.

I would love Happ. Like the idea of having a switch hitter available.
I also think we will see Mancini play some left and right as well as DH. I don’t think he’s displacing Yuli at first. He will play some first, but I don’t think he displaces Yuli.
I say that to say this. If this team acquires another outfield bat, like Happ, then I think it will mean the likelihood of Brantley returning is in serious doubt.

Not final yet according to Passen. Vazquez currently taking BP in Red Sox uniform.
In other news, a strange report says Reds have agreed to trade Tommy Pham to “unknown team” per Rosenthal.
