The Void: 2022-23 Offseason

So will Brantley

I think Brantley could make contact better swinging the bat with one arm than Gallo can with both.

Yes, but only Gallo is worthy of Cervantes. You can’t take that away from him.

And then make it all the way to second base. Let’s face it, he’s no Joey Callo.

I guess the Twins aren’t having a ute movement.

Switch-hitting Profar a new name supposedly being kicked around…

Another switch hitter that jumped to mind today—there’s a year left on Ian Happ’s contract in Chicago, couldn’t take that much to pry him away, right?

Does Crane read here or at least know about all the good advice available at OWA?

Passan says Swanson heading to Cubs.

I wanted the Astros to sign him last year when he was a free agent. He put together a solid season. Doubt it would happen, but I’d love to have him in Houston.

Looking at players who hit left-handed and who will be in their walk year next year and who may become available if their teams fall out of contention.

  1. Ohtani- it will be a season-long hysteria, of course

  2. Kiermaier: LH CF who plays defense. I wonder if Houston has an eye on him as a trade candidate now or pickup next year? I doubt he would cost a lot.

Kiermaier just signed as a free agent with the Blue Jays. What in the hell are you talking about?

Calling it now: the Angels will pay him big time, and the Angels will continue to win 75-80 games.

He’s staying in LA. But not with the Angels.

I’ve passed it on. :sunglasses:

Apology: I was looking at 2024 UFAs who bat left-handed- did not remember he had just signed.

I don’t know their prospects status, but the LAA team I saw last year (w/ Trout hobbling) was one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen.

Crane does, indeed, read OWA and relishes his monthly copy of “Cat Fancy.” Both are integral to his operational mindset.

Is there a “Dog Fancy?” I am not a cat person.
