Gary Glitter part 2

“All hail Zunino”

Same size as Gary Coleman.

At least we wouldn’t worry about his knees hurting.

Any thoughts on C Kluber? Or N Eovaldi?

Trade Garcia + prospects to get a Varsho/Reynolds type player and we might need another pitcher - just looking at the options as McCullers injury history could impact us unexpectedly.

Trade speculation on Twitter today was 4 players to Arizona including one of Urquidy/ Garcia/Brown.

I would tell them hell no on Brown.

I don’t know about Kluber but I keep thinking the same thing. I was hoping Bassitt and then a trade as you outlined above. Good news is that we could go to battle with this team as is if we had to…gonna be interesting to see how Crane and Co. carry out the rest of the off-season.

Also, Eovaldi seems like the type of pitcher that would thrive in Houston system.

No on Brown, but quantity over quality seemed to work well with ARI on the Greinke deal.

This sucks if true…

If the price is too high, it’s too high. Go bring back Brantley and maybe Benintendi.

Some serious inflation in the real economy adds to the circus-like atmosphere of trying to do smart but efficient business in this crazy marketplace at the end of 2022. Astros must be comfortable with their decisions too, since Crane has said that it might be until February until they really know how well the rehab is going with Brantley’s shoulder. They’ve kicked the tires and know the prices/cost - now its time to let the market cool off a bit, so they can strike when real opportunity presents itself.

I wish there was more information on Yuli’s situation. This is where we could really get a steal. Yuli off the bench has got to be better than 90% of the league right from the get go.

Has Yuli gotten an offer?

Nothing reported.
