Well that was weird.

As usual

Is this a guy we want to hang on to, assuming this story is accurate?

All things said in response to me. Yes weird, straight up though🦉

I never thought there was any chance Luhnow would be rehired, I still doubt it, but after a convo last night sounds like it’s an actual possibility. How much not sure, maybe 10%, but I no longer believe it’s 0%.

Wow.

You know, if this were to happen, the thing that comes to my mind is Stone Cold Steve Austin, turning heel, giving all 29 other teams, a stone cold stunner, and two bird fingers up to the rest of the world! There is a part of me that would love and would revel in that. I think it would be hilarious.

Having said that, didn’t he sue Crane? How are they going to get past that? How are other people going to want to work in Luhnow’s front office given the atmosphere that been documented existed last time around? I’m just not sure I can see this happening, but man would it be interesting. One thing is for sure though, Luhnow knew exactly what he was doing and how to build a team.

I absolutely do not believe your source.

Yes, please

Ok.

Nothing against you. I refuse to believe Crane would do something that controversial.

Furious seems to have slunk away as all trolls do. Good riddance.

Didn’t take it that way. I was the same way. I still refuse to believe it’s anything but a looooong shot. Just passing on info

Appreciated.

Yordan and Tucker collected some extra cheddar

You’d think Pena was on that list somewhere as well

Pena was not listed in the article which showed all who made 500K+

There is a pool of $50 million for this bonus program, which is reserved for players who began the season with fewer than three years of service time and had yet to qualify for arbitration via “Super Two” status. Of the $50 million, $38.75 million is reserved for statistical accomplishment (based on “Joint WAR”), with $11.25 million set aside for players who finished high in awards voting.
