The Void: 2022-23 Offseason

I was always confused when the pundits and press called them the scrappy underdogs in this years playoffs. They have a massive payroll full of proven veterans.

Now I want this to happen for the exploding of heads from all the moral gymnastics in the Dodger fan base.

Meaning, not a fluke- a bona fide contender.

Isn’t Turner’s main tool his speed? What’s that going to look like in 10 years?

I was just looking for an excuse to shit-talk the Stem.

Which btw, fuck the goddamn mets.

Disappointed in JV but not as much since it was a ridiculous Godfather type offer that could end up biting the Mets in the ass. Also, it will be fun to hate them again.

Pena did his best Correa impression this season (even one upping him in the post-season, which is not an easy task). It’s a good thing we have a starter who literally does an impression of JV.

His sliiiiiiiiiiiiiides…

Again?

That makes it sound like we stopped hating them at some point.

I will hate them MORE … with the steM, it is always MORE hate, not new hate.

Proven veterans, maybe, but not proven success. They were the bottom NL seed and hadn’t made the postseason since 2011.

The NL is shaping up to be a great race next year, with no fewer than 6 contenders (LAD, SDP, STL, NYM, PHI and ATL) and with SFG willing to spend to join.

Not to be outdone, the Yankees …

Cabrera to the Yankees?

Beyond the Cabrera,

Ironic, the Astros a bona fide Steinbrenner as owner while the Yankees have a deepfake satisfied with participation trophies.

I can’t be expected to read posts that aren’t directly in front of me.

This makes me happy. They’ll get what they deserve.

That won’t be a problem for their fan base.

You jumped in on your own, kiddo. Couldn’t give a shit what you think or feel. Why don’t you go back to stumpig for TFG.

With all the ridiculous money being thrown around this winter just a reminder that Luhnow was smart enough to extend Bregman. Otherwise he would be a FA right now and who knows what kind of money it would cost to sign him.

Also, kudos to Breggy for signing the team friendly deal to stay in Houston.

Not the sick burn you think it is, bud. I was merely repsonding to another’s question, not the revered OG you keep slobbing over. Did IQs drop sharply while I was away?

Only yours, though evidently it did not have far to fall.
