Wow! That’s less that a 2:1 wounded to killed ratio. While the overall numbers are on the low side of the range, that ratio is astounding. They really do leave their wounded in the field.

If there’s one other thing that ought to get anyone banned on this site it’s referring to oral sex as gross.

One of the biggest fears expressed by Zelenskyy early on was that the US would get bored with the topic and move on to other things.
The current administration appears to be staying on target, but the news media does seem to have reduced the coverage somewhat. Of course, it’s not like there’s nothing going on domestically - it’s like drinking from the fire hose right now - but Ukraine is the most important story in geopolitics currently.
I wonder if this was similar to how Britain felt during 1939-1941 (1942, in reality). The US government was supplying aid and support but, otherwise, Britain was on its own as far as the fighting and dying was concerned. Ukraine is going to fight for itself to the last person able to hold a gun, but Russia might push them close to that very limit.

Given that the conscripts are required to bring their own gear, I doubt there is a huge supply of medical kits around.
They tell Russian conscripts to get tampons from their wives and girlfriends, so they can stuff them in leaking bullet holes.
