I’ve addressed that in my post.
I disagree with your having Voyager and Enterprise tied. A tie? Make up your mind.
DS9
TNG
Lower Decks
Strange New Worlds (incomplete)
Discovery 23rd century
Prodigy
Voyager
Discovery 32nd century
Picard
Enterprise
TOS
TAS
This is the way.
I am like 6 or 7 episodes into S1 of DS9 for the first time. I hear people saying it’s so great. I am not seeing it yet. Hopefully it gets better.
WTF is Prodigy?
I just got my son started on DS9 for the first time, and S1 definitely has some clunkers, especially in the first half. We have used this guide to get through the first couple of seasons (scroll to the bottom for the actual episode list):
The listed episodes do the most important character building and start planting the plot seeds that will blossom throughout the series. By season 3 you’re not doing much, if any, skipping around.
Avery Brooks’s acting does not improve, and he acts a lot. I think also it helps to really get into the whole Bajoran religion angle, which I never could.
New animated show that started last year. It’s primarily geared toward kids but I enjoy it quite a bit.
I have not watched any Star Trek other than the first seasons when they came out, and every afternoon after school through high school. I don’t know what any of these are.
Reading you guys is like reading about a foreign planet, like reading science fiction even.
So basically: “NERDS!”
#pleasebegood
I think I’d still rather see it as a big-budget TV series that takes its time with the characters and plot, instead of a feature film that needs to reach a mass audience. But the TV adaptation was dead in the water for a long time, so whatever.
New Daredevil series on Disney+. When did this happen?
Dear Lord I hope they do not bring back Iron Fist.
For those of us who are only casual Star Wars followers, when/where exactly is the new Obi-Wan Kennobi series set? After Anakin becomes Vader but before the “rise” of Luke?
That is correct
There is actually a really nice pre-recap before the first episode to set the tone/plot.
Decent opening episodes of Kenobi. Still lots of Disney series trademark walking, though.
First 2 eps of Kenobi were pretty good (didn’t care for a couple of characters) and first 3 of Stranger Things were very good
I am through three episodes as well, and having a psychological threat as the villain is much more compelling.
We watched Kenobi last night before the game started. We also re-watched all the seasons of Ted Lasso, some old episodes of Johnny Carson, and re-read War and Peace. I hate West Coast games.
