The Inevitable What About The Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread Thread

Yin and Yang of Jan 6:

Jacob Chansley is being released today and Stewart Rhodes is being sentenced.

On the latter, the Feds are asking for 25 years. Rhodes, who is going to speak on his own behalf, is asking for time served. Should be interesting…

Kandiss explains the science behind her beliefs:

I don’t twitter, and cannot look at that link at work, but I can assure anyone that there is exactly no science behind her beliefs whatsoever. Not even a little bit.

There are many of us who have been paid well, some even more than they should, for being a scientist. The IRS sees no issues with it being a job.

FYI, Blair Erskine is a damn fine comedian who has made it a habit parodying the idiots who are the Republican Party.

But, yes, you are right that there is aboslutely zero science to support a flat earth.

Rhodes blamed Trump and the judge told him “nuts”. The judge is accepting every sentencing enhancement suggested by the DOJ, including terrorism. This is throw-away-the-key stuff. Motherfucking soup bone incoming…

I guess I’m missing the joke. Kandiss Taylor is a real person, leader in the Georgia GOP.

The clip was a spoof by Blair Erskine. The fact that Twitter doesn’t integrate with the board anymore makes it less obvious.

Ah. Got it. My complete disinterest in learning how twitter works, or otherwise contributing to the success of the platform, does not ameliorate the situation.

Twitter doesn’t work, which I think has been ably demonstrated in the last 24 hours.

Sorry, probably should’ve been more specific that was Blair’s post showing off the buffoonery of Ms. Taylor’s beliefs.

Not that Ms. Taylor needed any help showing off her buffoonery. It sort of speaks for itself. I’ll have to check it out later though.

Rhodes made a typically Trumpian statement in his defense, claiming to be a political prisoner and blaming everything on Antifa.

The judge is now delivering his sentencing statement, and is letting Rhodes have it with both barrels.

Ladies and gentlemen, your President of the United States.

Sentence: 18 years in prison plus 3 years supervision after release.

Rhodes is 58. Bye Felicia.

The case for obstruction is open and shut.

Two of Donald Trump’s employees moved boxes of papers the day before FBI agents and a prosecutor visited the former president’s Florida home to retrieve classified documents in response to a subpoena — timing that investigators have come to view as suspicious and an indication of possible obstruction, according to people familiar with the matter.

Anyone who touched those files is guilty of mishandling government documents, and thus can be squeezed to testify against Trump. I doubt the custodial staff at MAL is going to take much persuading.
