Complete and total bullshit

No, probably not if she was Giulianiā€™s employ.

Point of order: He did, thrice. One defendant (an FBI or DOJ atty, I believe) copped a plea. The other two were tried (one, by Durham himself) to full acquittals.

Federal prosecutions have a conviction rate over 90%. Iā€™m no expert in the maths, but Durhamā€™s 0-fer seems to fall short of that standard.

Gun control in CA, sponsored by Republicans and signed by their patron saint Ronald, was to keep those scary Black people from doing what had previously been OK.

Thatā€™s a very cute talking point. As usual, itā€™s factually inaccurate. The Mueller Report explicity states it does not exonerate him (Vol. II, page 8).

I would tell you to actually read the Report, but I know you wonā€™t. Probably becuase it has a lot of big words.

Also, I keep hearing about the ā€œdamningā€ IG report, rehashed by the Durham report, and think ā€œwow, if it was such a prejudiced witch-hunt, how many successful prosecutions did the IG and Durham recommend to be over-turned?ā€

The answer is zero, as best I can tell, but based on how the press and predictable dipshits portray those reports, you would expect all of those convictions would have already been over-turned.

The fascinating thing to me is just how much the press and public have acquiesced to the corrupt FBI/witch-hunt narrative, despite the evidence to the contrary.

With respect to guns, even this isnā€™t the case. I canā€™t remember where, but I learned of a study that asked nutcases about their attitudes towards gun control after gun violence had impacted them in some direct way, and it only made them crazier. They were more staunchly pro-massacre after meemaw was gunned down by a stray bullet while dipping snuff on the front porch, not less.

Right wing politicians are happy to allow constant mass shootings because it keeps their electorate in a continual state of fear, and it makes them much more amenable to the authoritarian bullshit theyā€™ve decided to go all in on. Conservatives are fearful by nature, so this is a pretty easy sell. But letā€™s not lose sight of the fact that these people are most willingly trading school shootings, church shootings and mall shootings for political capital. They know exactly what they are doing.

Guns are the modern Golden Calf to conservatives. I was going to say ā€œfetish objectā€ but itā€™s way more than that. They care more about their fucking guns than they do about anything Jesus said or did.

Since you are so smart, tell us where Mueller recommended that Trump be arrested for Russia collusion. Iā€™m sure you donā€™t have the time to do that between watching CNN and and studying ā€œbig words.ā€

Plenty of evidence, CNN and the liberal isnā€™t going to report on any of that though.

You donā€™t think Jesus had an AR-15?

I realize your intellectual capacity is rather limited, so Iā€™ll do the heavy lifting here for you.

On the surface, youā€™re correct the Report makes no recommendation to the DOJ for Trumpā€™s indictment, instead accepting the departmentā€™s longstanding policy that a sitting president cannont be indicted. The Report then expressly states that if the Special Counsel could clear Trump of any wrongdoing, they would have said so. (Vol. II, page 8)

The Report then details multiple instances of obstruction of justice committed by Trump:

  • June 2017, Trump directed White House Counsel Don McGahn to fire the Special Counsel after hearing in the press that Mueller was investigating the President for obstruction of justice (Vol. II, pages 77-90); months later, Trump asked McGahn to falsely refute press accounts reporting this directive and create a false paper record on this issue, which McGahn refused to do. (Vol. II, pages 113-120)

  • February 2017, National Security Advisor Michael Flynn is fired for lying to FBI investigators about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Kislyak. Trump clears his office for a one-on-one meeting with then-FBI Director James Comey, asking him to, ā€œlet [Flynn] go;ā€ he also asks then-Deputy National Security Advisor K.T. McFarland to draft an internal memo saying he (Trump) did not direct Flynn to call Kislyak (Vol. II, pages 40-44). McFarland never writes the memo.

  • July 2017, Trump directed his former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski to instruct the Attorney General to limit Muellerā€™s investigation, a move that was, "intended to prevent further investigative scrutiny of the Presidentā€™s and his campaignā€™s conduct.ā€ (Vol. II, pages 319-325)

  • At various points in 2017 and 2018, Trump asked the Attorney General to ā€œun-recuseā€ himself from the Mueller inquiry. The ā€œreasonable inferenceā€ being that ā€œthe President believed that an unrecused Attorney General would play a protective role and could shield the President from the ongoing Russia Investigation.ā€ (Vol. II, pages 319-325)

Independent of the Mueller Report, thereā€™s the letter signed by over 1,000 former federal prosecutors stating that any American other than a sitting president who engaged in similar acts of obstruction of justice likely wouldā€™ve been indicted with the amount of evidence gathered by the Special Counsel.

If thatā€™s heavy lifting, you must be pretty weak. Thank you for confirming that Mueller did not recommend any prosecution or jail time for President Trump. Glad we can agree on that.

President Trump was fully exonerated way before the Durham report came out. Once it came out, it confirmed what we all already knew. The Mueller investigation was politically motivated and did not need to happen.

Your CNN theory of downplaying all of this is typical liberal bullshit.

Thereā€™s more flipping going on here than of burgers on the 4th of July.

I saw this video of a heckler at the Nazi shindig in Washington. Itā€™s hysterical.

Iā€™m reminded of late 1984: I had just survived a shipwreck and lost my job and girlfriend in the span of a few weeks, the KKK was marching in my neighborhood and I was was in no fuckinā€™ moodā€¦

I picked out one of the gang of reprobates who got off the bus at the beginning of the march on lower Westheimer. They had homemade shields and body armor. This guy had hair down to his waist and I fucking gave him shit the whole march. ā€œCanā€™t you afford a fuckinā€™ haircut, hippie! Hey hippie! you look like a girl! Yes, if you divorce your wife, she will still be your sisterā€. The Nazi fuck was pissed but with a line of H.P.D. between us there was nothing he could do. One local establishment played ā€œSpringtime for Hitlerā€ on the loudspeaker, which was fun.

I wish I had been more like this guy. Way funnier.

Smith is putting Trump in a box.

Iā€™m only guessing but, on the list of processes for declassifying documents, ā€œwith my brainā€ isnā€™t going to be one of them.
