Not that this will make any difference at all to Dwad, but you can’t complain about the flaws unless you own up to what your political party had to do with inserting poison pills or other shenanigans they’ve devoted to making this not work all the while offering NO alternative… (not just a bad alternative, just no alternative)
I prefer to not share too much about my personal life, but I would not be married right now and I’d be “living in sin (lmao)” without the aca due to my income compared to hers and the cost of insuring her three children.
You fixate on “cheaper” without acknowledging access to low income individuals. You ignore how horrific health insurance was just a short time ago for a large amount of the people that live here.

Red states suing to allow themselves to opt out of the MedicAid expansion would be a hilarious self-own for the ages if it wasn’t for the fact that people in those states are sicker and die younger as a result.
I would make the comment that they’re paying for it anyway, but they’re not in reality. Most red states are net takers from the Federal government, so they’re “only” giving up free money to make their citizens’ lives better.

Team Trump back in court today (because Monday ends in a “y”) arguing their appeal of Judge Chutkan’s limited gag order in the Jan 6 case.
Trump himself, spent the weekend in an extended batshit meltdown on his near-bankrupt social media disgrace, going after the many judges (and some of their law clerks) in the many civil and criminal cases he is facing.
He also did an especially unhinged rally gig in a far-from-full high school gymnasium. Presumably he will soon be performing a live jazz exploration as a warm up for a puppet show.
Team Trump is up first and is getting a good pasting from the appellant court judges. I don’t know if this is because the argument is so bad, or if the judges just enjoy making lawyers dance for them on a Monday morning.
Same ol’ BS arguments from Team Trump about this being a campaign etc. etc. One judge got Sauer (Trump’s lawyer) to admit that they would be arguing this even if it was outside the campaign, seemingly crushing his own argument.
Sauer has also argued that no one has been threatened and, until that happens, there is no reason to impose a gag order. I presume he only puts a seat belt on after getting into a wreck…

The fact that two judges piled on this response suggests that they may not be buying this one. Someone has already been arrested and charged with threatening Judge Chutkan.
