That Charlie Kirk feller, whoever he is, ain’t really what you’d call a “thinker”.
Nor are most of the mental midgets who worship at his feet along with the enablers and backers of the previous occupant of the White House.
No, he is more of a “make-shit-up and exaggerator”
So he’s a typical Trump grifter. Fools and their money…
How the fuck people want to go back to this is beyond me.
In her response to the GA fake electors trying to remove their cases to federal court, Fani Willis points out that you can’t cosplay as officials and then be treated as actual officials in official proceedings.
Death threats aside, it must be a lot of fun smacking around these idiots. Also, is that a sideways jab at Hershel Walker and his plastic police badge?
Lastly, how the fuck does an nominated elector for the state of Georgia - real or fake - suddenly become a federal employee?
The judge has found Trump liable - again - for defaming E. Jean Carroll. The upcoming trial will be only about the amount he has to pay, therefore.
Trump could not muster enough self-control to just not talk about it. He has the emotional maturity of a ten year old.
I’m expecting him to go off again today, and turn this case into a trilogy.
Team Carroll I’m sure will argue that the last judgement was not enough to stop him from defaming her again within 24 hours…on national TV of all places. This one needs to be a substantial increase…like sticking a zero on the end as a start.
It’s clear that there will never be an end to this, nor, ultimately, a definable beginning. It will cycle off into all eternity and in all directions, much like the Star Wars franchise.
He’ll keep running his mouth because he assumes that he will never have to pay the bill. Maybe he won’t, but that’s not why Carroll did this and it’s not why she will continue to drag his orange arse into court over and over again.
Ultimately, though, Trump will die at some point and Carroll will have a substantial claim against his estate.
All $9 he’ll have left after every other creditor gets a crack?
Yep. But at least the spawn will get nothing.
CO having a serious crack at removing Trump from the ballot.
Of course, removing him from the general election ballot in states likely to vote for Biden isn’t going to change the Electoral College maths. However, if he is removed from the ballot in places like AZ, GA, MI and PA, his path to 271 pretty much crumbles away.
Fun Fact: The 14th amendment precludes an insurrectionist from holding elected office. So, if hell freezes over and he somehow wins the EC in 2024, he can still be barred from ascending to the presidency or booted from it after the event by the 14th amendment.
The (Trump-appointed) judge in the GA election case has declined to sever the cases of Chesebro and Powell. He has also - not without good reason - asked Fani Willis to explain exactly how the fuck she can manage prosecuting all 19 defendants at the same time.ts
While we can expect some of the 19 to cop a plea, there will still likely be a large number of defendants, and there’s not much time to get the flippers’ agreements and testimony in the bag before Oct 23.
Oh, and speaking of flippers, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago IT guy has flipped.
I’d like to read some articles about that
Does this mean us other Texans will eventually foot that bill?
The evidence portion of Peter Navarro’s contempt trial - that started with jury selection on Tuesday - is already over. Closing arguments today and then to the jury.
There wasn’t much to present, it seems. Navarro had been prohibited from raising any kind of privilege defense - because no privilege is/was asserted - so it went something like this:
Q: Did you receive a subpoena?
A: Yes.
Q: Did you comply?
A: No.
The prosecution rests.
Navarro could be in jail by the weekend.
