There are rules of criminal procedure and rules of criminal evidence. Those are state rules in this case, that must comport with the state and federal constitutions. The Supreme Court has jurisdiction to review on all such grounds. They can absolutely fashion a result oriented opinion in any situation, and often do.
So bottom line, Trump has stacked the Supreme Court so that no matter what, he wonât be convicted. He literally could shoot someone on live TV on 5th Avenue and the Supreme Court could, and likely would, say âwe donât care what the jury in NY saysâŚnot-guiltyâ. I donât think itâll get that far, as 1) I donât think heâll be convicted, and 2) I donât think he cares if he is. They could sentence him to 10 years in prison and heâll simply say âyeah, donât think Iâm gonna do thatâ.
And the MAGAts would claim it either wasnât a crime or it was the democrats faults

I had a flight attendant tell me during our bathroom break over the Pacific back in '21 that she was volunteering with the Maricopa County recount. I asked if she was part of Cyber-ninjas. If you showed election fraud that benefited a Republican to a Democrat, they would not believe it because it does not fit their narrative.
Fun Fact: The Cyber Ninjas found more votes for Biden, increasing the size of his victory. What they didnât find was any evidence of fraud.

People just came out in droves to vote for an old decrepit man with dementia. More people than what voted for Obama. I might have been born at night but I wasnât born last night.
Weâre all going to find out next Monday at 10am.

Well, itâs true! In 2008 Obama got 69,498,516 votes and in 2020, the decrepit old man with demetia (and a RICO charge now) got 74,223,975, but still lost to the best president of the 21st century so far, Joe Biden.
