The Inevitable What About The Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread Thread

One of the executive producers, Andrew McCubbin, was convicted of Medicare fraud.

But the movie makes the maga crowd feel good about itself, so who cares?

Rick Scott of Florida oversaw the largest Medicare scam in the history of the program and the dumb shits elected him to the Senate. Iā€™m sorry but conservatives are some of the dumbest, most immoral people on the planet.

A big reason why Scott was able to be elected to the Senate was because he was not prosecuted for his crimes. Remember that when Team Trump starts floating a withdrawal from the election in return for charges being dropped.

Yes, his company paid a huge fine but, once the accountants are done with it, they pay 50-70Ā¢ on the $1. The most notable reduction being that they can write off the fines paid against corporation taxes, meaning that the American taxpayer is subsidizing corporate illegality.

Privatize the profit, socialize the risk. Or privatise/socialise if you wish.

For those of you lamenting the USWNTā€™s loss to Sweden, you need to know who really is to blame.

He just begging to have his ass thrown in jail at this point.

He knows he wonā€™t be, no matter what he does.

He is decompensating more each day. Heā€™ll never stop rage-tweeting and trothing his every brain spasm. He will be given many more chances than anyone deserves, but eventually he will leave Judge Chutkan no choice after he has waved his arse at her for the nth time.

Iā€™m just being honest here. If Trump is convicted of anything regarding January 6th, I would look for the Supreme Court to overturn it.

On what grounds? You knowā€¦given that you donā€™t even know what the conviction would be, how could you be so certain that a conviction would be Un-Constitutional?

Why do you think Trump wonā€™t be put in jail?

I donā€™t think he will.

Neither do I.

To answer your questions (which I misunderstood), I think he wonā€™t be put in jail because heā€™s being protected by enablers. The rules simply do not apply to him because heā€™s cultivated this cult of personality and the people who have the ability to hold him accountable are void of personal ethics. The only difference between Trump and Kim Jong Un is height.

I just think that if heā€™s convicted of January 6th, it opens the door to prosecute other people in the government.

Here are several examples of Democrats encouraging riots.

As far as President Trump talking election fraud, that was a huge topic amongst Democrats after Trump won in 2016.

While I donā€™t think he gets convicted, if he does, I think the Supreme Court overturns it. Itā€™s clear that the current indictments are being ordered by Biden for political purposes. If Democrats did not get prosecuted for encouraging riots, violence and election claims, neither should Trump.

Judge Cannon appears to be the only competent lawyer of Trumpā€™s defense team currently.

Remember when Giuliani filed a motion in court in which he conceded that the statements he made about Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss were false and defamatory? There was an effort in the motion to have this concession applicable only to this case, and some other weasel words to give Giuliani a plausible argument that he had his fingers crossed the whole time.

Well the judge doesnā€™t understand WTF Rudy is gibbering on about, and has demanded he come to court to do the requisite ā€˜splaininā€™. I have a strong suspicion that itā€™s not going to help.

Speaking of gibbering idiots, Trump has had his counter-suit against E. Jean Carroll hoyed out of court, and he has dropped his ridiculous effort to get Fani Willis removed from the case in Georgia. So just another Monday in Trump world, logging multiple defeats in court.

you hate to see any of that donā€™t you?
Like Iā€™ll bet Fox would like no one to know that in Canada the company testified under oath that theyā€™re an entertainment entity and no one should take what they say as fact.

This is awesome. Despite achieving the ā€œFull Ginsbergā€ by appearing on all the network Sunday shows, Trump lawyer John Lauro met Judge Chutkanā€™s 5pm deadline today for the response to the DOJā€™s Friday filing.

As expected, the defenseā€™s response wanted to leave the doors wide open for Trump to be able to name, quote and dox witnesses in the case.

Less than two hours later, Jack Smith filed his response to Trumpā€™s response. In it, he quotes Lauroā€™s statements made on the Sunday shows as examples of the shit that Trump wants the freedom to be able to say.

Smith ainā€™t fucking around.

Neither is Judge Chutkan. She has ordered the two sides to pick a date/time before Friday to come in and sort this out.
