I did wonder what happened to whoever the Nexans sent up to Green Bay to announce the first round pick. I guess he’s still sitting there in the green room with Shedeur Sanders.
I get being a FAN and I get following the draft, but I just don’t get watching the first round where it takes 20+ minutes between every pick.
I really don’t understand going to some sort of official “watch party” unless you have a top-10 or whatever pick. How anticlimactic was that for Texan fans?
I just posted earlier to say that today should be more fun than yesterday. 5 picks, between 34 and 99.
He had a whole room dedicated to the Draft, crowd of friends and family was there. Bookshelf with about 22 hats on it representing every team that could draft him.
Right. If his dad wasn’t who his dad is, and created the environment around him that he did, then he’d be just another QB talking shit on social media trying to break into the NFL… His being picked in the 2nd round of the draft would not be front page news
From what I’ve read, it’s his lack of character. The reason he’s fallen is entirely because of his piss-poor, entitled attitude. No team wants to touch him, irrespective of how good a football player he may be.
From what I’ve read, no coach or GM wants to deal with him, with Deion SR looking over the shoulder and maybe trying to poach someone’s NFL job if Junior fails…“Only I can fix him”
This reminds me a whole lot of LeBron’s kid getting drafted by the Lakers last year
Texans sign Nick Chubb. He’s battled a few injuries over the last couple of seasons, but if he’s reasonably healthy, he’s a nice addition to the backfield.
