No such thing. They either go through or they don’t.
I hope someone asks about those mind blowing calls in the fourth quarter, whether they were designed for underneath routes and Stroud decided to take a shot or if the primary routes were those downfield.
McClain’s retired so maybe someone stayed awake through the whole game.
Stroud is pretty unflappable. A great quality for a QB to have.

I think it’s fair to say he does. He’s now one of those guys about who you say “you left too much time on the clock for him”.
I find myself looking forward to his downfield passes (provided they’re not on 3rd-and-three) because I know that a) it’s likely to be a guy who’s halfway open snd b) the ball will probably be where he can catch it. I was genuinely surprised by that late interception.
I’m amazed at how many 3rd and long, very long at times, he converts. He sees the field so well.

I agree. Stroud can make any throw he has to. The int was just one of them things, didn’t see the defender. It’s like a ground ball that goes between the SS’s legs. I was more frustrated with the play call than Stroud’s error.
I’m impressed with how quickly he reads what is happening. There was a good breakdown online of the game winner against TB which talked about the coverage, the receivers, and the decisions Stroud had to make in a second. It was pretty impressive when you realize what he has to see happening and make the right decision.
