The Texans are currently acting like a competent team against a very disappointing Seahawks squad.

Jags fired Urban Meyer last night. Didn’t even make it his first season.
What a dumpster fire. At least Culley is by all accounts a decent guy.

Davis Mills is starting to do a pretty good impersonation of a starting NFL QB.
Will be interesting to see him next year, with hopefully a bit more talent around him.

They do, and should have more after Watson is jettisoned.
He’s gotten better. But the Texans have to upgrade at 23 starting positions. They are still years away.
I’m not confident they’ll even get a “thank you” if they unload Watson. If I were on the other side and looking at all of the legal jeopardy, I’d demand a ridiculous premium before taking him off of the Texans’ hands.
Oh there’s no doubt that they need a massive talent infusion at basically every position. They have a few guys who would make credible backups or situational players.
There’s no reason Mills shouldn’t be the starting QB next year, was kind of my point, because there’s not going to be anybody better, might as well see what you have.
All depends on criminal charges being filed or not.
Even without criminal charges, who knows what Goodell will do?
